Prayer community praying for communities...

It's been nearly a year since my last blog post. We've had some great webinars in 2011 featuring seasoned and up-and-coming leaders in the Body of Christ.  Although we've had less mainstream activity this year, the last few months of 2011 were spent waiting to hear what the Lord would unfold as His ministry plan for us in 2012.  We didn't want to do the same thing over again just for the sake of doing something.  I kept hearing to go back to the beginning.  So that's what we did. Re-visiting the core focus of who, what, and why we're doing what we're doing.

Prayer is a primary core value of this ministry.  Prayer Community is something the Holy Spirit has been circling around this season.  Believers as a community taking back their communities in their prayer closets--whether local, regional, national, etc.  God has a heart for the nations just as much as your local neighborhood watch.  When we come together as a community of believers, we have the expectation that God will impress upon our hearts those communities that are near and dear to His heart.  When we seek what is God's heart and mind toward this land, we create an opportunity to come into alignment with heaven and wonderful, powerful things happen in the earth.  We bring healing to our land.

What an awesome privilege!  To hear from God and pray it in the earth trusting the work of the Holy Spirit to take action along with the angels to bring it to pass.  We are but mere humans, transformed by His Light to carry out His work of redemption by speaking (and doing) in faith what we hear Him say.

Our prayer community gathers on the 1st & 4th Monday of each month.  We host our prayer community gatherings by video conference online so spacing is limited.  If you are prompted by the Holy Spirit to attend any of our upcoming prayer community gatherings, CLICK HERE to sign up.

You can also visit our Events page on this blog to stay up-to-date with the prayer community schedule along with other FWM events.  If you are unable to attend but have prayer requests for a community, please email them to prayer@freedomworshipministries.us.  We'll be sure to cover them in prayer at our next prayer gathering.

I hope to see you online, and may you be richly blessed in ALL things!
